From the New York State Thruway, Route 28 or Route 209: Exit Thruway, Route 209 or Route 28 onto the traffic circle. Exit circle onto Route 587 (Chandler Drive bypass). Take 587 to end (approximately 1.2 miles). Turn right onto Albany Avenue. At first light (approximately 300 feet), bear left onto Maiden Lane. Go one block to intersection with Clinton Avenue. YWCA is a large Victorian home on corner.

From New Paltz and other points south via Route 32: Take Route 32 into Kingston. At five corners, proceed straight through intersection onto Wall Street (the left-most of the two streets across intersection). Proceed down Wall Street. At fourth stop sign, turn right onto Maiden Lane. Proceed down Maiden Lane two blocks to corner of Clinton Avenue. YWCA will be on your left.

From Highland and other points south via Route 9W: Take Route 9W north through Port Ewen. Continue over Rondout Creek bridge into Kingston. At light immediately after bridge, take left onto Garraghan Drive. Proceed one block and take right onto Broadway. Follow Broadway up hill. Broadway will bear right and continue into midtown. Stay on Broadway past landmarks such as Kingston Hospital and the Ulster Performing Arts Center (UPAC). Take Broadway to end. Turn left onto Albany Avenue. Proceed to first light (approximately 300 feet) and take left onto Maiden Lane. Go one block to intersection with Clinton Avenue. YWCA is large Victorian building on corner.
